HANEE comes from hanee-baram, the old Korean name for the west wind. It is the wind that clears the sky after rain, and it blows from the side of the sky where the sun sets, when the light is at its longest. We choose a piece for you the way you would choose such a day: clear, and clear for years.

We make one piece for one person. Every stone gives off its own light, and every person suits a different one. Finding where the two meet is the whole of our work.

처음 오신 분과는 주얼리 이야기를 거의 하지 않습니다.
어떤 자리에서 무엇과 함께 지니는지,
손은 어떤 모양인지, 평소에 무엇을 오래 지녀 왔는지.
그 이야기가 쌓일수록 제안은 정확해집니다.

With someone new we barely talk about jewelry at first. Where it will be worn and what it will be worn with, the shape of the hands, what they have kept for years. The more we hear, the more exact the proposal becomes. It is why the same people come back to us, year after year.
